Tryouts

The tryout fee for all age levels is $20 payable via e-transfer to nooksvolleyballpayment@gmail.com.
Registration will close 48 hours prior to the first tryout. Please pre-register online in order to speed up gym entry.
Tryouts will commence in late November for teams that have not pre-signed all of their athletes. A position may be offered by the Nooks coaches to a player(s) at any time during tryouts.
Athletes are responsible for registering for the proper age group. Age categories can be found on this page, as well as the online registration page.
NOOKS teams practice in school gyms throughout the city as well as occasional practices in private facilities.
PLEASE NOTE: Volleyball Alberta stipulates that all participants trying out for club ball will be required to register with Sportlomo. This is a Volleyball Alberta/Volleyball Canada requirement. If you have Sportlomo questions please direct them to Volleyball Alberta. You may be asked for proof of registration when you attend your first tryout session. Please register prior to tryouts.
